Meet Flo
Flo is a young female Syrian hamster with a birthdate Dec 27th 2020. She was rescued along with her siblings from an accidental litter. Flo is just about old enough to be rehomed and has since been separated from her siblings. Syrian hamsters are solitary as adults.
Flo has exhibit signs of being partially blind. Her movements around her enclosure with her constantly looking up in the air by her nose, indicates she cannot see very well. Her brother from her litter is also suspected to not see well or at all. As a pre-caution we must find the right home without children or cats/dogs in the home for her safety and wellbeing since she'll be more vulnerable. She'll be good for a beginner or experienced owner who meets those needs.
Flo is surprisingly hand tame and easy to pick up. We believe her past owners did an excellent job of interactions since these are some of the sweetest pups we've had at the rescue at such a young age. So she's got a good personality right off the bat. Her energy levels are much higher than her siblings but she also has a chill switch and will spend some of her time all cozy in her hide with the bedding pilled high. She'd be great for people who'd give her daily outside of her cage time, allowing her to explore more in a safe environment.
* Please be advised: Due to unknown genetics of both parents originally bought from a pet store, accidental litter animals like hamsters/gerbils/mice we take in, may end up passing before a year old due to complications from genetics. Not all will experience this.
Please inquire further to learn more. We respond via email Monday - Friday when available.
