Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.

Birthdate: 5/13/2019

Personality: Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Inquisitive, Friendly toward humans, Energetic, Nervous, Sweet

Favorite treats: Pumpkin & sunflower seeds.

Favorite toys and activities: He loves to run on his wheel for hours a day, & likes to climb on top of his little wood house to periscope. Exploring a freshly cleaned cage and running on his wheel.

Potty trained: No

This animal daily routine: Not particularly, he gets daily wheel washes & interaction but is a pretty flexible guy.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): No, this animal prefers to live alone.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Drow is the bravest little mouse, he has zero fear of cats and dogs and will stand on his hind legs to sniff at them.

Other notes: Drow is a pretty chill guy, he has some hesitation when he is first picked up but once he is out of his bin he will climb up and down your arms and sniff your face when you go in for kisses. Drow is a fantastic little companion for a calm household or individual looking for a buddy. He is low maintenance, doesn't mind your company but doesn't insist on interacting every single day. Enrichment is key, he loves to solve puzzles and rearrange his bedding.

Drow was born in rescue after his mom was transferred from a humane society in WI that was having trouble finding homes for a large group of mice.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Drow’s foster parent prefers to meet in either PetSmart location in Rochester, MN - 3845 Marketplace Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901 & 4603 Maine Ave SE #109, Rochester, MN 55904 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
