Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.

Personality: Inquisitive, Energetic

Favorite treats: Romaine lettuce currently, but we are still experimenting!

Favorite toys and activities: Her wheel and her cardboard tunnel to climb on.

Potty trained: Not officially but she seems to go in one spot primarily

This animal daily routine: Sleeps all day. When she’s up in the evening we give her a treat, offer a hand to smell, and then give her 10-20 mins to run around in her ball

BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): No, this animal prefers to live alone.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cat and dog, no notable reaction

Health concerns: None

Behavioral concerns: In Dodie's previous home she was noted to not enjoy contact with humans. Since entering rescue, we have not seen these behaviors but as a precaution, we are using our trust training methods to raise her confidence. She doesn’t run away from her foster’s hand.

Dodie found her way to MNPPR after her owner was not able to connect with her the way they expected.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Dodie’s foster parent prefers to meet at the Highland Park Chuck & Don's 2114 Ford Pkwy, St Paul, MN 55116 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
