Hi, my name is Dewey! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Docile, Mellow, Friendly
-Can live with kids: Yes - gentle, respectful children of all ages. Children CANNOT be my primary caregivers - that's an adult responsibility - but they can help handle me.
-Average Lifespan: 4-8 years
-Experienced guinea pig home: Previous ownership not required, but you must be educated about guinea pig care.
-Can live with other guinea pigs: Yes - I recently lost my bonded companion (Caramel) to cancer and will need a new friend. I have also been living with Oreo successfully for the last year and could potentially live with other male guinea pigs after a proper introductory period.
-Bite History: No
-Additional information: Dewey is an ~3 year old guinea pig with his whole life ahead of him. Guinea pigs can live up to 8 years! He will need a nice roomy cage with daily exercise. His diet should consist of unlimited grass hay for free feeding, high quality guinea pig pellets, and fresh greens offered daily.
