Personality: Aggressive (lunges, bites, etc), Inquisitive, Playful, Energetic

Favorite treats: Yogurt Treats

Favorite toys and activities: He loves chewing on plastic toys!

Potty trained: Does not use a litter box but only potties in the cage

This animal daily routine: He gets treats and fed at night, taken out in the evenings

BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): Although we would prefer Dedenne has a potential friend in his forever home, due to his trust training needs, he may need to be a solo rat.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cats from a distance, no negative response. Rats during bonding attempts, aggression was present.

Other notes: We are working on taking treats nicely and not lunging.

Dedenne came to MNPPR when his owner was unable to provide a cage mate or long-term care for him.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Dedenne’s foster parent prefers to meet at the MPLS Quarry PetSmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413, or Roseville PetSmart - 2480 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Dedenne has an adoption fee of $15
