Personality: Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Energetic, Sweet

Favorite treats: Higgins Sunburst Seed Mix

Favorite toys and activities: Running on her wheel and making tunnels in her bedding.

Potty trained: No

This animal’s daily routine: In the evenings, her foster will refill her bowl and water bottle, and clean her wheel. Then they work on trust training. She puts her hand in the enclosure with treats on it. Chocolate is still too nervous to take a seed from her hand, so she places some near her hand, which she does take.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): No, this animal prefers to live alone.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Dog. A little nervous and hid.

Other notes: Chocolate is very sweet. She is still nervous about humans but loves running on her wheel and exploring when she thinks she is alone. She is a cute little girl.

Chocolate came to MNPPR as a transfer when an accidental litter was born.

Due to our rescue being foster based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Maplewood Petsmart - 2370 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood, MN 55109 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
