Chewie’s Story:

Chewie is an incredibly sweet and happy guinea pig looking for a loving family to call his own. He was surrendered due to allergies in the home, but that hasn’t dampened his spirit! He is full of energy and excitement, always ready to engage with his human friends. His personality shines through in his love for daily playtime outside his cage—he enjoys spending a couple of hours each day exploring and interacting with his environment.

Chewie is used to being around young children and is very patient with them. He enjoys being petted and, while he’s not always a fan of being picked up, he’ll gladly allow you to gently scoop him up when needed. He loves the interaction, and with a little time and patience, he’ll warm up to being handled.

Chewie’s Favorite Things:

Food: Chewie is a fan of high-quality food and enjoys his daily serving of Oxbow Essentials Guinea Pig Food and Oxbow Western Timothy Hay.

Treats: He absolutely loves carrots, green peppers, and lettuce! A little snack goes a long way in winning his heart.

Playtime: Chewie enjoys getting out of his cage and stretching his legs for some fun, social time each day.
