Meet Cashew & Sesame
Update: April 2020:
Cashew and Sesame are getting more used to being handled. Most of the time, when their lid is open, they wake up and come out for some treats! Especially Cashew, he’ll do anything for some snacks.
Cashew and Sesame are a pair of lovely dwarf hamster brothers in search of their forever home!
Cashew and Sesame came to us as babies from a shelter that could not keep them. They were born mid to late Nov. As they are dwarfs, these brothers can be housed together, ensuring they have two of everything so fights do not ensue. They are friendly and love to play, run in their wheel, bury themselves in their nests and explore.
Cashew is the lighter coloured hammy with red eyes (he’s also chunkier!) and Sesame is the darker one with black eyes. They both have quite unique personalities with Sesame being the sweet and gentle one and Cashew being the energetic feisty one. Best of both worlds! They both enthusiastically come up to hands for treats and are both handleable, although not the biggest fans. They enjoy spending their time napping in burrows, zooming on wheels and rolling around in their sand baths!
