Meet Apple
Apple is a sweet young guinea pig who recently came to us. She is under six months old. She's still a little skittish upon being picked up but then settles down nicely. This is something we are working on and she is coming around nicely. She likes to hide in a small carboard box with her cagemates Perla and Kadence. It is possible one of these piggies could be her mother but we are unsure.
Apple can be adopted with Perla or Kadence or individually.
Guinea Pigs are most likely to be active during the day and live between 5-8 years.. They can grow up to 12 inches long. Most guinea pigs are gentle, social and enjoy the companionship of other guinea pigs.
A 30 inch habitat for single guinea pigs or a 40 inch habitat for pairs is recommended. Guinea pigs prefer multilevel homes the provide extra space and exercise. Paper bedding is recommended. A hiding house, chew toys, food dish, water dish and hay manager should be provided for your guinea pig.
Adoption fee: $25/ single $45/pair $65/trio (The adoption fee does not include a habitat).
