Meet Andy & Barney Fife
Andy (Beige colored) & Barney Fife were born approximately January 1, 2020, surrendered to the rescue on July, 15, 2021 They will be vet checked as soon as we can get an appointment with our vet,
In their young life the boys went from breeder to pet store from pet store to owner #1, back to pet store, given for free to owner #2 (a child). The reason for surrender was that the child was neglecting and not taking care of them.. When they were surrendered we were told that their young owner was too busy with school, work, and friends and didn't have time for them. The adult in the family stated, "we didn't want them".
Guinea pigs have many needs including lap time, attention, and vetting when needed. Cage cleaning, yummy vegetables, hay, guinea pig pellets and A LOVING environment where they are viewed and treated as a valuable family member, not some animal that can be thrown away when they are no longer wanted or welcome in the home. .
