Our Mission
Our mission is to help cats and kittens find loving FOREVER homes. We take in the cats and kittens who would otherwise have no chance at life, the severely injured and/or ill. We work closely with our veterinarians to treat and rehabilitate these kitties and to make sure that they are healthy and healed so that they may find their forever and loving homes. In order to continue our life saving work we need community support, and most importantly, ADOPTIONS. Every life that we have been able to save has only been possible because of the community support that we receive on a daily basis. We are saving lives one kitty at a time.
Adoption Policy
If you would like to adopt one of our cats or kittens please visit our website wvcatrescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Please allow at least 24 hours for us to review your application and get back to you. If approved, we will arrange a day and a time to bring your new family member to your home. At that time we will collect the $60.00 adoption fee and have you fill out and sign the adoption contract. If a cat/kitten is marked as *Sponsored* then their adoption fee is free. All of our cats/kittens have been combo tested, vaccinated, and fixed before adoption.
We are a small network of fosters, so we do not have a facility where you can actually visit us and our kitties, unless we have an adoption event. You can follow many of our kitties and our work on our Facebook page.
