Our Mission

House of Mews does not adopt outside of Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, or Lake County.

We thank you for your interest in our rescues.  PLEASE note that House of Mews reserves the right to decline any application without explanation.

House of Mews Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster based, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned stray cats and kittens in Northeast Ohio.

To prepare our fosters for their forever homes, we nurture and socialize them in safe, loving environments while providing time to heal along with needed medical services if necessary.

Adoption Policy

If interested in adopting a House of Mews cat or kitten you'll be asked to complete a no-obligation adoption application, which will be sent to our adoption coordinator for review.

A Mews volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted.

House of Mews Rescue requires an adoption fee at the time of the adoption.

Kitten up to six months $95 or 2 for $150.00
Kittens over six month $75 or 2 for $125
Cats one year of older $50
