The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need. We are a 501(c)(3) organization run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends. Our mission is to save dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and place those animals into loving and permanent homes. We promote responsible animal ownership and provide medical treatment, foster care and training to unwanted, abandoned, lost or surrendered animals. It takes a village to save a dog and to support that dog on its journey to finding a permanent, loving home. Â

Adoption Policy
As resources allow, we pull dogs from shelters and pounds. At TRI, we do not discriminate against any breeds. We adopt out our dogs based on the home that is the best fit. We do meet and greets and home visits to ensure the dog is a proper match for your human, canine and feline family members.
Each TRI dog is assigned an adoption consultant who handles the adoption for that dog.
