Our Mission

We are a small, all volunteer 501(c)(3), nonprofit rescue group, dedicated to saving and rehoming yorkies and other small dogs in need.  Our mission is to evaluate, rehabilitate, and place these dogs in permanent loving homes.
Incoming dogs will be examined and treated by a veterinarian, and cared for in experienced foster homes until they are adopted by an approved family.  We will incorporate education and public outreach programs to help further these goals.

Adoption Policy

Adoption Policy

We adopt to homes in southeastern PA and southern NJ. We will occasionally make exceptions for applicants interested in adopting special needs or senior dogs.

Our dogs are fostered in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. If approved, you will need to drive to the foster home with your family and pets to meet the dog you are interested in adopting.

We place dogs in age appropriate homes.

We generally do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years.

Preference will be given to homes with small dog experience.

We require that all pets in your home be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. All dogs should be heartworm tested and on preventative medication. If you do not currently own a pet, you are still required to list the name of the veterinarian you will be using.

We charge adoption fees for our dogs. Higher adoption fees for younger dogs help to pay for medical treatment that may be necessary for older dogs.
