Our Mission
Husker Weim Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3. We are a volunteer run organization. we have no paid staff or board members. We rely on foster homes. We are not a shelter. At Husker Weim Rescue, Inc, we have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused Weimaraner and Weimaraner mixes. We also welcome any Weimaraner and Weimaraner mixes where their owners lifestyle have changed and they are searching for a better life for their pups.
Adoption Policy
Fill out adoption application. Our board of directors will review of the application. Check with vet and personal references. Then there will be a interview, home visit or ask for pictures of the home, yard etc. We will tell them about what Weimaraners are available and their characteristics. We will try to match them to the best of our ability.
