Foster Families Needed!


On occasion the shelter receives animals in need of extra care. These are often orphaned, injured, or ill animals that need time and a quiet place to recuperate. On those occasions we need foster families to provide care and love for these special? If you are interested in becoming a foster family for the OLHS, please e-mail, call us or come by the shelter to fill-out a foster care application. Spay Neuter Assistance Program | SNAP

Adoption Policy

Adopting a pet from Oxford Lafayette Humane Society (OLHS) is easy. Take a look at our pet list to see who is currently available for adoption, and then fill out an application online at our website, oxfordpets.com. All animals are adopted to approved homes only. All animals must be spayed or neutered; we make absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Please note the pet I.D. number assigned to the animal you wish to inquire about when calling or e-mailing.
