Our Mission

New Chances began with a dream, which started after eight years of volunteering with another rescue. We wanted to be able to offer a place where animals, having more trouble being placed in their forever homes, due to older age, health or behavior issues, could call home.

Our rescue is designed as a sanctuary where animals can live out their lives, however, we do provide care for animals that will some day be able to move on to a different forever home.

New Chances is home to cats, dogs, pot belly pigs, goats, miniature donkeys, chickens and rabbits.

Adoption Policy

New Chances Rescue requires that all existing pets be spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies vaccine and have received a wellness exam within the past 12 months.

Interested adopters will complete an application that requests information about the adopter, type of cat/kitten or dog desired, veterinary reference, current/past pets, lifestyle, landlord contact, if renting.

New Chances will contact your current/previous vet to verify that current pets are up to date on their rabies vaccine, have received regular vet care and have been spayed/neutered; plus if renting, contact your landlord to verify that your lease allows you to add a pet to your home.

Once the application has been approved, a time/place will be set up for you to meet the cat/kitten or dog and if it a good fit, then a time/date will be mutually selected and the new furry family member will be delivered to your home.
