Shepherd Help and Rescue is a German Shepherd Dog rescue located in the South Florida area. We have been rescuing these beautiful dogs from local high-kill shelters, socializing and vetting them, so that they can be placed for adoption into loving homes.Â
We are group of Animal Lovers that have fallen in love with the German Shepherd Breed. We work tireless to save these Regal dogs from high kill shelters. We work primarily out of Dade and Broward County high kill shelters. Most of our dogs were on their last day and scheduled to be euthanized or had special needs that required medical treatment (such as Heart worm or orthopedic issues from Traumatic injuries). We know German Shepherds don't always do well in a shelter setting..and we really try our best to get them out, put them in loving foster homes and get these very intelligent dogs re-homed to appropriate families.
