Our Mission

Every year, millions of wonderful dogs are killed in our shelters and many more are left on the streets to make it on their own. No dog should be left in a dark, cold shelter to die or left outside to suffer and to survive on their own. As humans we have an obligation to help those that have no voice.

Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an application on our website. (Please understand that it may take up to 72 hours for one of our volunteers to return your email or call. We are very understaffed and receive numerous calls and emails all day long and we also hold down full time jobs as well)

Once completely filled out, please submit it back to us and one of our volunteers will review your application as soon as possible and contact your references. If everything appears to be in order, we will call to speak with you about the dog you are interested in adopting.

If we feel it is a good match, we will set up an appointment time for you with our foster person where you can meet your new potential family member. Please make sure you bring your significant other, children and your furbaby(s) to this greet and meet to make sure everyone likes each other.

If it appears to be a good match, we will then need to follow up with a home safety visit. If you are living at home with parents or with roommates, everyone must be ok with adopting the new dog. We will require approval from your landlord if you are renting.
