Miniature Schnauzers & Friends Rescue

Redondo Beach, CA

Our Mission

In the greater Los Angeles County shelters alone an average of 475 pets are euthanized daily. There just aren't enough homes for them all. Our mission is to help provide animals a second chance to have a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation. We save dogs in need and provide them with proper care and foster homes while they await adoption. We evaluate the dogs the best we can in order to place them into loving homes that best suits their needs as well as potential adopters needs. We also try to educate the public on how to be responsible pet owners and the on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. The only real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets. And please remember before you adopt a pet, the commitment needs to be for the lifetime of the pet... if you can't make that type of commitment, please rethink getting a pet. The shelters are full of animals there were once adopted or purchased by people who may have had the best intentions at that time but just didn't give enough thought about it being a 12-15 year commitment.
