Our Mission
To provide compassionate, timely and effective response to domestic animal situations in order to ensure the safety of all citizens and animals through the consistent enforcement of state and local laws relating to the humane treatment and control of domestic animals.
What We Do
We reinforce the ideals of our mission statement every day by providing daily care for the animals in our shelter, assisting citizens visiting the shelter, as well as out in the community. We respond to calls regarding animal welfare and animal-related concerns, enforce the laws and ordinances regarding the care and treatment of animals, host off-site animal adoption events, and provide educational information at community events, in partnership with neighborhood and civic organizations as well as other departments of the city.
Adoption Policy
It is so easy to adopt from us. Just contact us to make an appointment to meet any of the pets listed for adoption at our shelter, or visit our off-site adoption location at Petsmart in Benton, AR. (See our Facebook page for the latest updates regarding who is there!) We will help you with the rest!
Our adoption fees are multi-tiered to allow those hard to place pets a better chance at a life-saving adoption. Our fees range from $50 - $125 and include spay/neuter and other veterinary care.
