Our Mission
Our shelter is the only public animal shelter in Marion County, AR. run entirely by caring volunteers. Have A Heart was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non profit charitable organization to shelter and re-home local dogs & cats in March of 2016.Â
Have A Heart shelters approximately 14 dogs and 15 cats at any one time.
A Thrift Store is also located within the shelter to help fund shelter expenses by "re-homing" donated books & household goods (no clothing) and is open for sales Tuesday - Saturday from 9-3 during shelter hours.
Adoption Policy
$50 Cat/Kitten adoptions Include: Spaying/Neutering, Rabies Vaccination, 3 in 1 cat vaccination, FeLV/FIV testing, Topical Flea Treatment, Deworming and Microchipping.
$100 Dog/Puppy adoptions include: Spaying/Neutering, Rabies Vaccination, 5 in 1 dog vaccination, Heartworm testing, Topical Flea Treatment, Deworming and Microchipping.
