Mission statement
To rescue, foster, and rehome homeless and unwanted animals. To strive to make these animals feel safe, comfortable and secure while in our care, and while receiving the immediate medical care they may need. To give these animals a second chance and to rehab and restore them to the true " Southern Treasures " that these loving animals are. To convey the significance of spay & neuter.
Southern Treasures Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization in the Mobile, AL area.
We are a 100% volunteer organization.
Southern Treasures Animal Rescue is currently on a freeze from in taking new rescues. Shortage of volunteers willing to foster an animal in their home.
We need loving & committed Foster Homes. If you are willing to help a needy homeless or shelter animal please see our website for info & foster application. Thank you!

We are a foster based organization. All animals are placed  in foster homes while awaiting their forever home.  We will arrange for a meet and greet with the pet of your choice and at a time that is convenient for you & AFTER you have completed an initial application. If interested in any of our animals, filling out a quick application is the FIRST step. Thank You.
