Our Mission
The Windy City Canine Rescue is a group of volunteers based in Lethbridge, Alberta working to help older dogs in need of a new home. Our goal is to make sure that a dog that has already had one family, finds his/her perfect match this time around.
We are all volunteers and are working in rescue in addition to our work and family commitments. Please be patient with us with regards to responding to voicemails and emails. The fastest way to reach us is always via email (windycityintake@gmail.com)
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of the dogs in our care, please complete the following steps:
Sit down with your family and/or roommates and discuss adopting a new dog. Â Be sure to talk about how much time you have to spend, how much a new dog will cost, what type of personality you want in your dog and who will be responsible for walking and caring for the pet.
Make sure that the ideal dog you and your family have described above matches with the dog you want to adopt.
