Meet Little Ann

Currently around 2 ft long
Still “little but not done growing”

- DOB - 8/5/21
- in rescue since - 11/10/21
-She LOVES her basking spot and getting sprayed
- we are currently working on socializing her more, she’s a bit of a feisty girl and likes to test her limits however she is doing so much better and she is not as reactive as she was before when we would get close to her enclosure. She definitely is very territorial and does better being handled away from her home.
-she loves to eat, she does amazing with her veggies and she hasn’t turned down anything we have given her. It seems like she’s always ready to snack even after her meal
- she lives with her foster mom’s dogs and other reptiles, but she doesn’t physically interact with any of them. She can hear the dogs vocalize and she doesn’t seem bothered by them at all. Do not recommend her around young children or hyper people. She needs a quiet / calm environment.
- on a scale 1-10 in socialize , I give her a 5. Her personality is spicy but she isn’t super antisocial. She likes being around people, she just doesn’t want to be handled all the time and does better away from her enclosure and does better being handled after she ate. Eating always puts her in a good mood.
-any behavioral issues - She is working on becoming more friendly, she has not bitten anyone but she does like to whip her tail if you’re getting too close for comfort. Her eyes also speak to you, she is always watching and if she’s comfortable you can see it in her eyes, if she’s unsure of you then she’ll stay away and not get close.
- any medical issues : She was taken to the vet for banging her nose on her enclosure but has since healed and hasn’t done it again. We have also changed her enclosure so she can’t see out fully, she has a lot of plants and photos that cover the glass on the outside. Otherwise she is healthy & not taking medications.
-background information - she was pulled from the shelter with another iguana who has been adopted already.
-one word to describe your foster in general- Spicy

Adoption fee required - need understanding these iguanas get to be approx 5 feet long so they need a bigger enclosure once they’re bigger and most likely it has to be custom made. Vetted and was said to be healthy.

If interested in adopting, please fill out this application. We require a home check, vet reference if you have other pets, landlord reference if you are a renter. All pets in household must be utd/fixed and any exotic pets must have a wellness check up within the year.
