Meet Zurro
Male, English Spot
DOB: estimated 4/2023
Hi, I’m Zurro. I’m a handsome black and white spotted rabbit. Part of the Bridgeport 5, I was dumped in Bridgeport, PA ,where I lived on the streets for at least 3-4 weeks. Surviving on raiding the neighbors' vegetable garden (thankfully the neighbors liked me more than that Farmer McGregor), I took shelter burrowing under a backyard shed. I ran away when those humans tried to catch me, but I was ultimately cornered. I didn’t fight too hard because I had a feeling that indoor bun-life wouldn’t be so bad.
I am adjusting to the cushy indoor life and learning to get used to it. I’m a fun loving guy, and getting more adventurous and starting to branch out into other rooms and climb up on boxes. I may even jump up on a couch someday. I’m in the process of learning to use the litter box. I won’t squirm when held, and I love getting pets, especially on the nose and behind the ears. I also love to listen to music, and I enjoy when people sing to me, like "Bunny Afternoon" to the tune of Sunny Afternoon by the Kinks, and "Snack-a-Roo Time" to the tune of the Flintstones theme song. I especially like the part where I get the snacks. I’m comfortable around humans and other bunnies. I’m looking for a furever home, hopefully a place where I can run around and live my best life.
If that home is yours, please email lizzymcneil@hotmail.com for an adoption application!
