Hi! My name is Yang and I am looking for my Yin! I was adopted from HSHA a couple of years ago, but my owners moved and could not take me with them. I was nervous and skittish when I first came back, but I have settled down and am adapting well to my life here. Sometimes the staff or volunteers will let me hop around in the room and I love it! I like to be petted, but am not comfortable being picked up and held. I kick my back legs because I am scared, so being close to the ground is best for me! I will sit beside you while you pet me, but am not a lap bunny. Most of the time I am friendly and calm, as long as you don't move things around in my cage. I will still need continued socialization since I can be a little nervous with new people. I would be a good family pet, although it is recommended I do not live with very young children. My favorite treat is a chunk of banana, and I also enjoy munching lettuce, parsley, and apple. Unlike Bugs Bunny, I'm not a big fan of carrots. I'll need lots of Timothy hay and high quality rabbit pellets to be happy and healthy. Playtime outside of my cage is important, too! I will thrive in a home with a rabbit savvy owner who understands bunny behavior and will help me blossom. So what do you say? Will you be my Yin? I sure hope someone out there will give me a second chance!
