Whim is a male and is the black and white dutch bun on the right.

Whimsy is a female and is the tan and white dutch on the left.

They were rescued from a residential neighborhood in the Inland Empire. They had been running the streets for a few months and a concerned resident contacted the rescue for help.

They are a gregarious, outgoing pair of friendly buns who would make a great addition to your household. They are easy to pick up, love and pet. They will keep you entertained with their spunkiness.

Whim and Whimsy should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Whim and Whimsy can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
