Meet Violet and Alexandra
Violet and Alexandra were living in a hoarding situation in Texas. They made the long journey from Texas to Maryland with their mom and siblings to find their furever home. The rest of the family are happily living with their families but Violet and Alexandra are still waiting.
Alexandra is the bossy big sister but being a benevolent ruler she also likes to snuggle and lick the head of her sister. Violet is the brains of the duo and is the fastest to figure out a puzzle and delights whenever they get a new toy. She needs mental stimulation and is sometimes a little mischievous. She would be a good candidate for clicker training.
These big New Zealand/Rex mix white type rabbits have wonderful temperaments and are good family rabbits. They are good sturdy rabbits with a good appetite for hay (and everything else).
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out our on-line adoption application at the following link. You must be at least 18 to adopt from us. http://rabbitsinthehouse.org/?page_id=145
The application is not a commitment to adopt. It’s just a place to start: to let us know you are interested, to give us some information to properly advise you, and to help us keep track of people who have contacted us about adoption. The questions are designed so that we have consistent information from each adopter. Sometimes just emailing back and forth or talking on the phone we might forget to ask something. The form has been a big help and time saver for us.
