Meet Shepherd - the biggest puppy-bun you'll ever meet!
Shepherd is your loyal companion, eager greeter, and goofy entertainer. If you've been searching for a best friend, Shepherd is your boy. He's waiting for a special human to pour all of his love into. After being found as a stray, Shepherd came to us with quite the mouth. Meaning, when we went to feed him - he would bite us! We were really worried that his behavior and his REW status (ruby eyed white) would make him challenging to adopt out. But after he was neutered and his hormonal angst settled down, he started to realize that he was being fed on a consistent schedule. That flipped a switch for him. He never has to fight for another meal again - in fact, he now gets snacks, unlimited hay, and a full breakfast every day. This gave him such peace of mind - and allowed that sweet-natured personality shine through. Now, he's a love bug who enjoys each and every minute of each and every day. That's the puppy in him!
