Sarah Connor **Adoption Pending** Rabbit American Edgewood, MD

Please meet Sarah Connor, a striking bun who has had to overcome significant obstacles in her young life, but had come out even stronger because of it!

Sarah is named after Linda Hamilton’s tough, gritty character in the Terminator movies. At only an estimated 1.5 to 2 years of age (as of July 2024), Sarah was availed outdoors by her previous “caretakers”—but an awesome LH volunteer helped a caring neighbor to catch Sarah and bring her to safety!

Sarah is quite the active bun and is an accomplished high-jumper, so will need an X-pen that is over 4 feet talk, or one with a “ceiling” unless she is given free roam of a room.

Sarah is fairly outgoing for a bun, but has her more reserved moments. She is a candidate for a home with gentle older children, so long as the adults in the home supervise interactions and realize that Sarah’s care (like that of all animals) is primarily their responsibility.

We think Sarah would be open to sharing a home with dogs and/or cats, so long as everyone is introduced gradually.

Once we have received and approved your completed application, we can schedule a time for you to come meet with rabbits available for adoption to see with whom you have the best connection. Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $75. This is a donation meant to help us cover part of the cost of caring for the animal you are adopting while (s)he is with us, including veterinary exam, spay or neuter surgery, deworming, RHDV2 vaccination, microchip, food, bedding, etc.

Sarah is vaccinated against RHDV2.
