Meet Salt & Paprika

Meet Salt & Paprika! Salt is the black and white harlequin and Paprika is the orange and black. These lovely ladies came to the Brigade after their previous owner was unable to keep them any longer. Both are happily bonded to each other, so we took them in to ensure that they wouldn't be separated.

Both ladies are very friendly and will ask politely for pets if the mood strikes them. Their foster mom reports that every time she walks in the room they're kept in, both are right there at the edge of their pen standing up for attention, and one of the girls is usually using her sister as a support. Be prepared to have to pet with both hands around these two! Salt is the more outgoing of the two so she's always ready for attention, and Paprika enjoys affection as well but can be a little more reserved at times. Both are exceptionally clean ladies and would be excellent candidates for free roaming. The Spice Girls have been waiting for their forever home for quite awhile now - could their place be with you?

Both girls have done amazing around their foster mom's cat, so we feel that a polite feline companion will be fine. Other rabbits being around has caused Paprika to startle when they move, which in turn scares Salt and causes her to chase after Paprika. For the sake of both their nerves, it may be best for these two to live separate from any other rabbits in the household or be the only two buns in the family.

Salt may be at least partially deaf and somewhat nearsighted. These are unfortunately common disabilities in lops due to their bad breeding. It doesn't impact her much at all, and she's just as happy and healthy as any other rabbit.

All potential adopters are carefully screened so that we can ensure our rabbits are placed only in the safest of homes. If you're interested in adopting, please copy and paste the following link in order to fill out our pre-screening application:
