Rue (Madison foster home) Rabbit Rex Deerfield, WI

Rue is one of five beautiful rex sisters that came to us from Richland County. When the five girls arrived at WHRS, Rue stood out as calm and cool. She is very social with her trusted humans, enjoys playing with toys and cardboard, and doesn't seem to let things bother her. She is friendly with the four sisters she is housed with, both giving and receiving grooming.

Rue has the cutest wrinkle in her forehead and her gray color reminds her foster family of a velvet dinosaur (an herbivore, of course!). She has good litter box habits and is an eager hay eater.

From observations of the four sisters housed together, there is not a particular bond with another rabbit; instead, she interacts, grooms, and flops around all of them. For this reason, Rue can be adopted as either a single bunny or as a pair with one of her sisters (her foster family can make recommendations based on personality). Please do keep in mind that litter mates may appear as bonded when they are young but could unbond as they mature.

If you are looking for a super soft cuddly bunny, Rue may be for you! In a bun-proofed area, Rue will make an excellent house rabbit.
