Meet Rowena

Meet Rowena! Rowena is one of the Death Row 20, a group of rabbits that joined the Brigade after they were set for euthanasia at an out-of-state shelter because they were overfull. According to their records, Rowena was born in May to one of the rabbits surrendered at the shelter. She's currently being fostered in the Philadelphia area.

Rowena is on the shyer side, but is friendly and shows interest in people. She'll take treats from your hands but is still a little afraid of being petted and darts away when her foster mom tries to stroke her head. We know that with patience, Rowena will really come out of her shell and her already-friendly personality will blossom. She loves to run, explore, and binky - she just needs time before she's ready to be touched.

We think Rowena is a great candidate to be bonded to another spayed or neutered rabbit - she was spayed in December 2021 and is also fully vaccinated against RHDV2.
