Rosie Rabbit Californian Wilkes-Barre, PA

Meet Rosie! Rosie and several other Californian bunnies were trapped in Wilkes-Barre under a strange sequence of events. Brigade volunteers were originally told that the bunnies had been set free to escape religious sacrifice, but a few were found with fresh tattoos that suggested they had been used for breeding.

Rosie is a sweet, gentle bunny with the silliest facial expressions. This girl is an absolute ball of sass! She's always giving you the "look". Experienced rabbit owners will know what the "look" is - it's the side eye where you can just hear the rabbit thinking "what do you think you're doing?"

Despite always looking like a round, judgey potato, Rosie is an absolute sweetheart. She handles well and accepts pets. She can be just a little skittish when you first approach, but we know that with time and patience she'll learn that she's safe and relax. The best way to win her over is simply to hang out nearby with some treats at the ready - when she's ready, she'll approach you and then you're in!

Rosie has been with us since December 2021, but we're hoping that her forever family is just around the corner.
