Roo's Story
Meet Roo, a beautiful cinnamon bunny looking for her forever home! Quickly adjusting from the stressful life at the animal shelter to a calmer foster home, Roo is becoming more comfortable in her surroundings and her true personality is starting to emerge.

Roo can be a little shy at first but don’t let that fool you: this bunny has a sassy side! She is still getting used to hands and may grunt or lunge when you try to pet her but once she trusts you, she enjoys pets on her head and ears. This bunny is not picky: she loves to eat and is always excited for mealtime. While Roo may not be obsessed with toys like some other bunnies, she’s got a passion for shredding cardboard. Give her a box and she will go to town, creating her own little masterpiece! Roo has great litter habits and while she doesn’t like to be picked up, she will settle into your arms. How she interacts with other animals is unknown so far but she will probably do best in a home with older children or adults.

Roo has come a long way since her time in the animal shelter and needs a calm, quiet home that will work to earn her trust. If you are that home, please fill out an application at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt. Thanks!
