Meet Robin
Hi everyone, my name is Robin, and I was recently taken into the rescue when my previous family saw I had some special challenges and knew they could not probably care for me. I was born with one back leg that is splayed which means it sticks out to the side.
I have been seen by the vet, and it is just a genetic issue I was born with. I do need a bit of changes to my setup as I still get around like crazy but lots of soft bedding and blankets for me is needed. This also means I may be more prone to arthritis issues at a younger age than is normal for a bun. My diet must be strict because if I become overweight it puts extra pressure on my joints which is not ideal for me long term. Pressure sores and sore hocks are two of the things that I must be monitored for.
I have been spayed and I love all attention. I am a sweet little girl who loves to play and scoot all around.
I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water. I love my daily salad of things like romaine, parsley and carrot tops. I also love banana, apple and even blueberries!!!
