Hi! I'm Ringo, a sweet bunny who wants to drum up some love and laughs for you! When I first came to the shelter, I was nervous and afraid to be petted, but that has changed! Now, I enjoy being petted and having my long, floppy ears rubbed. I can tolerate being picked up to be moved in and out of my cage, but do not like to be held. I kick my back feet, so I would not be a suitable pet for young children or a first-time rabbit owner. It will be beneficial for me to have enrichment time outside my cage because I'm very active and curious. I love to explore and rub my chin on everything! I can be quite comical jumping around like a little kangaroo! My floppy ears are adorable, but will need to stay clean, inside and out, since they are prone to a build-up of dirt and debris. A nutritious diet of high-quality rabbit pellets, unlimited amounts of Timothy hay, fresh vegetables, and small amounts of fruit are essential to my health and well-being. My teeth do not stop growing, so daily chewing and gnawing on grass hay is important to wear them down. My favorite treat is a chunk of banana, but I love the salad of greens, carrot, and apple that I'm served here daily. A cuddly bunny I may never be, but I AM very social and love interacting with humans. I'm one rockin' rollin' rabbit, so come in to meet me soon, Ringo the Star!
