Meet Reese & Starburst
Meet Reese and Starburst! They were born here at Blue Barn Rescue! We took in a 19 rabbit surrender that multiplied to 42 rabbits!
Reese is super sweet and outgoing. He is a funny boy with a huge personality.
Starburst is a very special boy. He is sweet and on the more quiet side. He had a fluke accident a few months ago- he must have taken a bad step, or landed a binky wrong and got an avulsion fracture (that is when the tendon comes off the bone and coils up). Unfortunately, bunnies do not do well with orthopedic surgery and regaining function of that leg with physical therapy was unlikely. This was very painful for poor Starburst, so we decided to amputate his front leg. The good news is... Starburst is doing AMAZING! you would never know he is missing a leg when you see him race around with his brother and do binkies!
These boys are so deserving of a loving forever home together! Starburst is all healed up and there is no additional care required for him. He is a perfect boy- just minus one leg! They are six months old and already neutered and would make a lovely addition to any family!
