Phoebe is a beautiful adult bunny who is friendly and curious. Though she appears well cared for, sadly not much is known about her as her surrenderer claimed she was "found". However, they had baby pictures of her! It is not okay to be dishonest in order to get your pet moved ahead of others in need on a rescue's waiting list.

Phoebe was recently spayed on 6/11/25, so she will need a good 6-8 weeks for her hormones to settle prior to being introduced to another bunny. Pre-approved applicants will have first consideration, so we encourage you to apply now.

Bunnies live an average of 8-10 years, but could live up to 16 or even longer! While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They also thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are otherwise occupied. They need vet visits just like a dog or cat and will require a yearly vaccination against RHDV2. This is a highly contagious and deadly virus. All of our rabbits have received their first annual vaccines.
