Meet Peter!<br/>He is a medium sized mix breed rabbit that is roughly 5-7lbs and estimated to be about 3 years old. He has already been through so much in his short life. He was rescued from a farm where someone noticed he had a huge wound on his neck and the original owner didn't want to care for him. They picked him and up and then brought him to us for urgent medical care. He had a severe infected wound under his chin that was open and had feces and pus in it. He had surgery to remove the encapsulated abcess and stitch him back together. He has a scar from his jaw down his chest and down his front leg. After weeks of antibiotics, pain meds, and wound cleanings, he is now available for adoption! <br/>Peter is very easy-going and laid back. He doesn't like to be picked up like most rabbits but loves head scratches and playing with toys. He is very sweet, calm and adventurous.
