Meet Oats

Oats and another rabbit were found thoughtlessly abandoned in a cardboard box in a subdivision under construction the night before a 30 cm snowfall. They were very fortunate that a Good Samaritan who had spotted the box opened it, took them home and called us at ADHS. The two rabbits were so hungry that they had started to eat the box itself.

Neutered and vaccinated, Oats is currently located in a rabbit-savvy foster home but he’s ready for his forever home! His idea of a that home is one giving him the love and security he needs in order to know that he’ll never be abandoned again.
