Meet Miranda
Miranda was born at the Albuquerque shelter in July 2021 and became a foster with NMHRS a week later. She has a lot of energy and will need ample space to run around. She shuts down when she is in a cage and becomes depressed, so we are requiring that her forever home give her at least a whole room.
Since she was named during Hispanic Heritage Month her name comes from Lin Manuel Miranda. She hasn't seen any of his work but hanging out on the couch with you sounds good to her! She adores being with people and will run right up to you. She needs a lot of attention, so even better if you work from home and can spend all day with her. Because she thrives off of socialization, her forever home should highly consider bonding her with another bunny ASAP (we can help with that).
Miranda is incredibly smart and determined, so her forever home needs to be prepared to bunny-proof any room that she is. She loves to cause mischief and knows that you won't be mad when she bites through your wires because just look at her sweet little face!
