Meet Maru! This mellow, independent bun is a quiet soul who enjoys the simple things in
life-snacking, grooming, loafing, and observing the world at her own pace.
Maru is naturally timid and shy, especially in new environments. She startles easily at first, but
with time, patience, and a gentle routine, she becomes more comfortable. While she's not a fan of
being picked up or cuddled, she will allow gentle pets and may surprise you with sweet little
moments when she chooses to be close.
A true homebody, Maru prefers the familiar and cozy. Even when her pen has been left open
overnight, she's chosen to stay inside rather than explore. She's a low-key companion who's
content spending her day grooming, relaxing in a full loaf position (she turns into a long, rounded
bun!), and enjoying her favorite snacks.
Maru isn't a particularly social rabbit and prefers doing her own thing, but that just makes the
moments she shares with you all the more special. She's best suited for a calm, quiet home with
someone who understands that trust takes time.

Maru is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be
administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy
