Meet Maro
Have you ever wondered what would happen if a bunny and a guinea pig had a baby? Well, meet Maro, short for Marrochino, and wonder no more! This cutie is roughly two years old and weighs in at 7.5 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation.
Maro is a smart and loving young lady who is very curious about those around her. She may be shy at first, but once she warms up to you, you have a friend for life. As Maro can be a little skittish at times, she would do better in a home with no small children, dogs, or cats.
This girl loves toys and puzzles that are engaging; a girl needs to keep her brain sharp! Maro also has an affinity for diggy boxes. When she is not working on her puzzle skills or digging for buried treats in the diggy box, Maro loves to be groomed. She will even flop for her foster provider to brush her gorgeous locks.
Maro would be a great free-roam bunny; she is inquisitive and will need a home with some bunny-proofing. With so much love to give, she is not afraid to ask for love when she feels so inclined. If she feels you are not paying her enough attention, she will stand on her hind legs and beg you for pets.
Given the situation Maro was rescued from, she will require some extra TLC. Due to a poor diet, she has tummy issues and is not fond of loud noises.
