Luna Rabbit Lionhead Huntsville, AL

Luna is about 3 years old and is a lionhead breed bunny. She is a beautiful golden orange color. She is very friendly and sweet. She loves to have her head petted. She is about 4 lbs. Unique for bunnies, she likes being picked up and cuddled! She loves attention! Take the time to allow her to trust you and you will have a little companion for life!

We want Luna to have the best home and she has a special caveat: her ears are very special and prone to infection due to the inner ear anatomy. She will always need weekly ear cleaning maintenance. This is easy: 2 drops of Zymox non-hydrocortisone ear cleanser (something sold from Amazon and Chewy) every week in each ear and a checkup every 6 months. Due to her ear anatomy, this is something she will always need.

Luna is spayed and vaccinated against RHDV2. She has been assessed by our vets to be very healthy aside from her ear maintenance. We don’t know if she gets along with cats. She may enjoy a bunny friend as she is very friendly.

Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care, and should be kept indoors. We would love to help you learn about bunny care if you are considering adoption. Foster-to-adopt is also an option.
