Meet Julius
Julius is a strong and positive boy who has overcome a lot in his young
life. Dumped at East Valley Shelter in a state of advanced neglect, Julius,
suffered deep wounds on his paws, horribly infected sore hock syndrome,
heavy ear mite infestations, severe urine scald dermatitis on his lumbar and
ventral caudal abdominal region, dehydration, depression, muscle atrophy,
and cachexia (wasting away of the body).
He underwent intense treatment for his conditions, particularly his feet and
is now a brand new bunny!
This brave bun doesn't let his past stop him and is full of wonder and
energy. He loves doing binkies and is an extremely curious bun. Step aside
or he will boop you with his nose to let you know he is comin' through!
When comfortable, he will flop along side a wall or in a corner. When
playful, he loves running through curtains. He loves attention and will
follow you around like a little puppy.
His favorite veggies are dandelion greens and cilantro. His favorite snacks
are watermelon and bananas.
