Meet Juliet

Juliet is an adorable blue-eyed little dwarf lop. She is already blossoming at the rescue with improved diet, fun-around time to exercise and loving kindness from our Rabbiteers. Sadly, those were lacking in her prior life. She was kept outside in a hutch with little human contact and fed poor quality pellets. She does not like to be picked up. We were told she's been around children, though we wonder what that experience was like for her. We are thankful that we can make life a little better for her while she awaits the true loving FURever home she so deserves.

Juliet was recently spayed on 5/21/25, so she needs time for recovery and to allow her hormones to settle prior to being introduced to another rabbit.

We are always working with the rabbits to help them find their true bond-bun, as they thrive best with their own kind. Could your bunny be "THE Bun"? Fill out the application and, once approved, we'll schedule a Meet 'n' Greet to see if your household might be a bunderful match.

* Indoor Home Only *

Bunnies live an average of 8-10 years, but could live up to 16 or even longer! While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They also thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are otherwise occupied. They need vet visits just like a dog or cat and will require a yearly vaccination against RHDV2. This is a highly contagious and deadly virus. We strive to get our rescue rabbits vaccinated prior to adoption, as possible.

Please do your research before adding any pet to your family. Visit rabbit.org for accurate, up-to-date bunny information. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before and after adoption, as well as assist in helping you decide whether bunnies are right for you. We offer ongoing support and encourage ongoing learning to ensure that you and your bunnies thrive.

Please find a place in your heart and home for unwanted, discarded shelter animals. Thank you for adopting, not shopping!
