Meet Janine (Vancouver)
This beautiful rabbit in a soft grey coat has a sad story. Her people decided to turn her and her siblings free. When a neighbour complained about the rabbits in their garden, these people decided to kill the rabbits with an air gun. A different neighbour saw that the grey rabbit had an injured eye and alerted us. When we took her to the vet we learned that Janine was shot in the corner of her right eye. The pellet went into her nose, and lodged there under the skin. She had to lose her right eye. The air gun pellet was removed but her nose will always have a bump.
Janine is the sweetest bunny. She is friendly and very clean. She will be a good house bunny and companion. If you are interested in adopting Janine, please fill in our adoption application form.
The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit (please go to WWW.VRRA.ORG for adoption application). We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies.
