Meet Hope

Meet Hope! This sweet girl is being fostered in the Philadelphia area.

Hope and many of her brothers, sisters, and cousins were rescued from a feral colony that began when a backyard breeder began dumping their rabbits, leaving them to fend for themselves. When Hope came to the rescue, she was very underweight and scared. One of our foster parents brought her home and proceeded to dote on her and get her to a healthy weight. Despite her rough start in life, Hope is finally healthy and learning that humans aren't half bad!

While she's naturally shy, if you work with her and give her time to adjust, Hope reveals a very sweet side. When she trusts you, she melts for head pets and cuddles. Her litterbox skills are perfect, and her foster mama reports that she's quite the perfectionist. If her blankets aren't put in just right or she wants her hay in a different spot, she simply has to fix them and won't rest easy until it's done!

We estimate that Hope is less than a year old and will be a medium sized bun when she's finished growing. Due to her gentle personality, we feel that Hope will be a good candidate to bond with other rabbits.
